Mera Peak, Nepal's highest Nepal Mountaineering Association climbing peak

 

At 6476 metres Mera Peak is the highest of the trekking peaks in Nepal. When this is combined with the fact that it offers unparalleled views and stunning panoramas it makes this trekking peak one of the most sought after mountaineering trips in Nepal. Mera Peak is never particularly technically difficult, but there is the altitude to contend with which makes this an exciting and challenging trip.

From Kathmandu, you enjoy an exciting flight to Lukla (2860m, 9384ft). Trek  to Chutanga (3173m-10411ft).

2 Rest day in Chutanga for acclimatization.

Cross Zatrwa La (4610m - 15125ft) and trek to Thuli Kharka (4400m - 14436ft).

Trek to Tashi Dingma (3520m - 11549ft).

Trek to Tagnag (4350m - 14272ft).

6 Rest day in Tangnag for acclimatization.

Trek to Khare (5100m - 16733ft).

Rest day in Khare for acclimatization.

9 Trek to Mera La (5415m - 17767ft).

Trek to High Camp (5800m - 19030ft).

Ascent of Mera Peak (6476m - 21248ft). Descend back to Tangnag.

Trek to Thuli Kharka.

16 Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.

Climbing allowance of high altitude sherpa (HAS)

9 - 12 persons                                                 € 355 plus € 17 per person

Note: Maximum number of members in a team 12 persons.
